General Questions
What is a Burly profile?
The Burly profile is a FREE way for you to get your game face on and customize your Burly experience. By creating your own personal Burly profile, you now have the place to upload your own video rants, and save others' rants onto your page. You will be able to make video channels, meet fellow sports freaks, and much more. Also, with a variety of sharp backdrops, you can also change the look and feel of your profile at will.
In short, having a Burly profile is the best way to not only get the most out of Burly, but for you to let the sports fans out there know just how you feel.
Do I have to have a certain browser or system to use Burly?
Burly should work with the most popular web browsers out there - on both Windows and Macs. The following are recommended by the Burly for maximum performance.
Windows Systems:
- Windows 98, 2000, XP or Vista
- 1 Ghz Intel or AMD processor
- 512 MB of RAM
- Broadband connection
Compatible Windows Browsers:
- Internet Explorer 7.x and 6.x
- Firefox 2.0 and 1.5
Macintosh Systems:
- OS X 10.2, 10.3 or 10.4
- 1 Ghz PowerPC or Intel processor
- 512 MB of RAM
- Broadband connection
Compatible Mac Browsers:
- Firefox 2.0 and 1.5
- Safari 2.x and 1.x aren't fully supported but most features will work.
We recommend Firefox for the best experience on both Windows and Mac machines until we support additional browsers more uniformly.
Due to differences in how different browsers behave, some features will look and/or work better on certain browsers than on others. However, for the most part, your experience should be the same regardless of your computer and browser choice.
General Account & Profile Questions
What's the difference between "edit" and "view" mode?
"Edit Mode" when set, lets you change the look, position and contents of your Burly profile page. It is only available when you are logged in and on your Burly profile page.
NOTE: "Edit Mode" is the default mode when you first log in.
In contrast, "View Mode" is how other Burly members actually see your Burly profile page. When on your own Burly profile page, you can switch between both modes in order to review any changes or updates you make by clicking on the "View Mode" or "Edit Mode" buttons located on the top of your Burly profile page.
What's a Widget?
Widgets are special "mini" applications that perform one or more related tasks within your Burly profile page. For example, the Mail Widget handles communication between members while a Video Widget is used to play, manage and upload video clips.
Widgets are incredibly versatile. You can move them around on the page, re-size them, change their appearance and even choose not to include them on your Burly profile page. What's more, they all work pretty much the same way so once you use one, it's not hard to learn how to use another.
What type of Widgets come with my Burly account?
Right now, every Burly account comes with the following Widgets:
- Details Widget - this Widget provides you with an "extended" profile so you can tell everyone about your team, your favorite players, where you're from, etc. Don't hold back, lay it all on the line!
- Fans Widget - this Widget allows you to "connect" with other Burly members by initiating a virtual friendship. So go ahead and find some people you'd like to know. Build your own virtual cheering section.
- High-Fives Widget - this Widget shows you who has sent you a high-five. A high-five is basically a shout-out from another Burly member who likes one of your videos, is also a fan of your team, or just has a six-pack they want to share.
- Mail Widget - this Widget allows you to mail other Burly members messages, receive messages from other members as well as manage these messages.
- Comments Widget - much like signing a guestbook, this Widget lets other Burly members to leave comments on your Burly profile. It's kind of like your own personal jumbotron.
- Profile Widget - this Widget allows you to create a basic Burly profile, which includes a picture and some basic personal info. Use it to tell us a little about your wonderful self. Who are you? Where did you come from? You get the idea.
- Video Widget - this Widget enables you to upload, manage and share videos with other Burly members and the world, thanks to the 'Video Locker.' Not only can you get creative and upload your own works, but you can save videos, from both Burly and other Burly member profiles, directly to your locker with just one click!
- Blog Widget - this Widget enables you to keep a blog on your Burly profile. You can write about a video you like, or you can share a recipe. Blogs are all the rage, you know.
How can I turn Widgets on or off?
Make sure you're in "Edit Mode" (the "Edit/View Mode" button is found on the top of the page) in your Burly profile page. Next, click on the "Burly Widgets" button to view the drop-down menu. From there, you can check or uncheck which Widgets you'd like to turn on or off.
How do I save the layout of my Widgets on my Burly profile page?
Make sure you're in "Edit Mode" (the "Edit/View Mode" button is found on the top of the page) in your Burly profile page. Next, click on the "Save Layout" button located at the top. This will save the position and layout of your Burly profile Widgets until you decide to change them again.
NOTE: You will receive a confirmation alert telling you that your layout has been saved.
How do I restore the layout of my Widgets on my Burly profile page?
Make sure you're in "Edit Mode" (the "Edit/View Mode" button is found on the top of the page) in your Burly profile page. Next, click on the "Restore Layout" button located at the top. This will return the layout and position of your Burly profile Widgets to their default state, like they're coming back from the DL.
How do I replace my profile photo and how do I delete my profile photos?
To replace your profile photo, make sure you're in "Edit Mode" (the "Edit/View Mode" button is found on the top of the page) in your Burly profile page. Click on the red "edit" button, the profile menu will appear. Click on the "Photo" tab to upload a new picture and/or select a different profile picture from your existing collection.
To delete a profile photo, click on the "Manage Photos" tab and check the box next to each picture you wish to delete. Click on the "delete" button to remove them.
NOTE: If you don't upload a Profile picture, Burly will assign you a generic image. But that's no way to play! Upload a picture, and get the clicks.
How do I send messages to other Burly members?
Well, you can do this in a couple of different ways. One way is to click "compose" in the Mail Widget of your Burly profile page and enter the member name you want to contact.
NOTE: As you accumulate fans on Burly, the Mail Widget includes a built-in contact manager so you can easily send messages to them without having to remember their names.
You can also send messages to someone when viewing their profile. Just scroll down to their Mail Widget, and click on the "write" button to compose an email to them.
How do I prevent (annoying) people from contacting me?
Simply go to that annoying member's profile, scroll down to their Mail Widget and click on the "block" button. Nothing from that member will get by the block, much like nothing gets by Burly's goal line stand in the pick-up game! If you change your mind, then you have the option to "unblock" them when you go to their profile.
NOTE: A blocked member will receive an email bounce notification if they attempt to contact you via email while a "block" is in effect.
What's a fan? And what's a high-five, for that matter?
Fans are Burly members who you think are cool or who have videos and profiles that you like, and vice versa.
High-fives are acknowledgements of your greatness and dudeliness from other members. You may receive high-fives when you have an excellent video rant, you like the same team, or just for the F of it. That's all there is to it.
How do I delete fans and high-fives?
In "Edit Mode" of your Burly profile page, scroll down to your Fans Widget and click on the red "edit" button. Now, click on the "Manage Friends" tab; this is where members can view and manage their fans. Click the "delete selected fans" button to update your Burly contacts. Click on the "select all" button select all of your fans, "clear all" to de-select all of your selections, and then click on either the "apply" or "cancel" buttons to proceed or cop out of your changes.
NOTE: You can follow the same procedure in the High-Five Widget if needed. Fair-weather fans and lame-o high-fives, you're outta here!
Where can I choose a background theme?
After signing in to Burly, click on the "Themes" link on the top navigation bar. You will be provided with a pop-up featuring a menu of colorful, pre-made visual themes that will enhance the overall appearance of your Burly profile page. You'll be lookin' more stylin' than a Devil Rays uniform.
To upload pictures or graphics of your own choosing, as well as specific colors, you can click on the "Appearance" tab (while in edit mode) to customize the background color and/or image for your Burly profile page.
NOTE: Selecting any themes or appearance options from the "My Settings" area will apply a specific look and feel for your Burly profile page and will override the appearance of all of your Burly Widgets.
I'm trying to upload an image to my profile and am getting an error message. Why?
Burly allows you to upload standard JPEG and GIF images for both your profile backgrounds and profile photos.
NOTE: You will get an error if you attempt to upload an unsupported image format or if you attempt to upload an image file larger than 500KB in size. Even Burly is not that big!
How do I add color and graphics to my profile?
Simply head to the "Appearance" tab while in "Edit Mode" and customize the font style, font color, background color, background image, border color and border size for each Widget that appears in your Burly profile.
How can I change my email address and/or Burly password?
You may change your email address and/or create a new password at anytime by clicking on the "Account Settings" tab of the "My Settings" area.
How do I find out my password if I forget it?
Through the link entitled "Forgot your password?" you will be taken to a page that allows you to get your Burly password emailed to you at the address that you entered when you created your Burly account. Dumbass.
How do I delete a comment I made on someone else's Channel and/or profile?
Like batting .400, this is simply not possible. Comments made about a member's profile have to first be approved by the recipient before they actually appear in their Comments Widget. Only the recipient can delete a comment posted on their profile, so make sure you double-check your trash talk.
Meanwhile, comments made about a specific member's video or Channel is automatically posted. However, the recipient can delete them at anytime.
General Privacy Questions
How do I set or change my privacy settings?
Click on the "My Settings" link on the top navigation bar. Next, click on the "Notifications & Privacy" tab. The following is a description of the different privacy options available:
- Contact Privacy - determines who on Burly can contact you (e.g. fans, high-fives, etc.). The available choices are:
- Anyone (i.e. all members).
- Members marked as fans.
- Members marked as fans and high-fives.
- Nobody (no one can contact you).
- Search Privacy - determines how your profile will appear on Burly searches. The available choices are:
- Hide location, which prevents other people from seeing your geographic location like city, state, country, etc.
- Hide your age, which prevents other people from seeing how old you are.
- Hide from all Burly searches, which makes you completely invisible to other people and will prevent other members from contacting you, seeing your videos and posting comments, etc.
- Upload Visibility Privacy - determines the default visibility of your video uploads. The available choices are:
- Public (viewable by the world).
- Private (viewable only by you or members marked as fans).
Once you're done making your changes, click on the great big "apply" button to update your privacy settings.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- You can also change your Contact Privacy settings from the Mail Widget by clicking on the "Preferences" tab.
- Upload Visibility Privacy settings take effect only after they are set. The settings will not be applied to any videos you've previously uploaded, rather, only those videos uploaded after you've changed this setting.
How does Burly handle privacy for its younger members?
Although Burly is really for older kids (read: adults), we know there will be some 'little leaguers' sneaking into our site. Burly is very sensitive to this issue and we've gone to great lengths to protect our younger members, including:
- When creating their account, we automatically set their Contact Privacy to "none" so other members can't contact them first. In fact, younger members can only be contacted by other members if they initiate the contact first.
- When creating their account, we automatically set their Search Privacy to make them completely invisible.
General Video Questions
What are tags?
Tags are keywords used to make your video, channel or profile appear in searches by other Burly users. Try to include a mix of broad terms ('baseball,' 'stunt') with specific ones ('Chicago,' 'Guillen'), so that your rant, channel or profile will reach its intended audience! The more tags you include, the higher the likelihood it will be found. It is up to you to accurately tag the things you want others to see, but you can change the tags associated with your videos, channels or profile at any time.
NOTE: Tags cannot be changed on videos that you did not upload yourself.
How do I upload a video?
You can upload a video from the "Upload" link at the top of every page or from the Video Widget while "Edit Mode" on your Burly profile page by clicking on the "upload new video" button. Simply locate the video you want to upload on your computer's hard drive, fill in the required information and click on the "upload" button to start the upload process.
I can't upload a video. Why?
Much like calling a balk, a video file is a very complex thing. There's a ton of different video formats and no official standard. So, we try to support the most common video formats that people are likely to have (as well as some that are less frequently used). Currently, Burly allows the following video files to be uploaded:
- .3GP (Nokia, NEC, Simmons and Sony-Ericsson mobile devices)
- .AVI (ancient format still used by many digital cameras and camcorders)
- .FLV (Flash Video Player)
- .MOV (QuickTime - all common types are supported, including the new H.264 codec)
- .MP4 (MPEG-4)
- .MPG (MPEG-1 & MPEG-2 - commonly used in DVD's)
- .WMV (Windows Media Video)
That being said, please be aware that certain types of video files will cause more problems than others - specifically:
- .AVI - this format is particularly nasty because of the wide-range of variations that are possible so there will always be a certain percentage of videos uploaded in the .AVI format that won't convert. Hey, that's life.
- .WMV - videos encoded in the newer Windows Media 9 or 10 formats may not convert at this time. Fortunately, .WMV files saved in Windows Media 7 or 8 formats tend to be very common and seem to work just fine.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Sometimes a video will upload and convert fine but won't play back with any audio. Again, this is likely due to some weirdness with how it was encoded.
- Videos larger than 50 megabytes in size can't be uploaded to Burly so check the size of your videos to make sure that you're not exceeding this limit.
- In testing, we've uncovered an issue where sometimes a video will appear to get uploaded but it won't actually convert. Usually, this happens because your "session" or the period that you're logged into Burly actually expires before your video finishes uploading. When this happens, Burly basically loses track of who the video belongs to and thus, won't convert. The best way to deal with this issue is to periodically click on the site so that the "session" won't time out.
My video is taking forever to upload! What gives?
How long a particular video takes to upload depends on its size and the speed of your Internet connection. Large videos will take longer to upload than smaller videos. Similarly, fast Internet connections will upload videos quicker than slower ones. Fortunately, we realized this and designed our video upload feature to support background uploads.
Background uploading allows you to upload a video and get real-time feedback of how long it will take to upload while still being able to surf around Burly. This way, even users with slower Internet connections can have fun while they wait! That's pretty cool, right?
How long does it take for an uploaded video to be viewable?
In most cases, a video should be ready to view within a few minutes of being uploaded. You will be notified by email when you video is ready just in case you go off the site.
NOTE: A "processing" icon appears in your Video Locker or Channel until the uploaded video is ready to be viewed. This icon will only be visible to you when you're in "Edit Mode." Videos awaiting processing will be invisible to other members browsing your Video Locker or Channels.
How many videos can I upload?
As many as you want! Currently, we don't place any hard limits on the number of videos you can upload. The only restriction is storage space, which you can always check by looking at the "storage gauge" at the top of your Burly profile page. It works like a thermometer in that the gauge fills up as the storage space allotted to your Burly account fills up.
In real-world use, we've found that you can upload anywhere from 40-100 videos of various lengths with the current storage allotment. However, this is subject to change as we improve and scale the system.
NOTE: Only one video may be uploaded at a time, and an attempt to upload more than one video simultaneously will result in an error message. However, you may occasionally receive this message erroneously or repeatedly. This indicates there was a snafu uploading the video in question. But, DON'T PANIC! Simply log out of your account, then log back in and try again. Works like a charm.
How long can my videos be?
Right now, we have no length restrictions for any videos that you upload. However, we so limit individual videos to a maximum size of 50 megabytes.
Depending on the quality and format of the source video you're trying to upload, this can amount to as little as :15 or :30 seconds to as long as 7-10 minutes of play time depending on the video's original compression settings, length and physical dimensions.
Why do the videos I upload look grainy?
To ensure that the videos uploaded to Burly load quickly, we compress them. A side-effect is that sometimes this process results in diminished fidelity in videos.
For the most part, however, the quality of the videos is directly proportional to the quality of the video uploaded to the site. In other words, uploading higher-quality videos will produce better results than uploading lower-quality ones.
NOTE: Virtually all video files are encoded in what are known as "lossy" formats, which remove subtle details from the video file in order to achieve better compression. Because of this, converting a video from one format, say .MPG and then encoding it to another format like .MP4 may reduce its final size but also it's overall quality. In generally, you'll get better results with the videos you upload to Burly by not converting them into other formats before uploading them.
Again, we're not perfect and like everything else, we'll improve the quality of our videos as time goes by.
Advanced Video Questions
How do I edit the details associated with my video?
In "Edit Mode" of your Burly profile page, go to your Video Widget. Next, select your Video Locker (Uploaded or All videos) look for a small button called "details" located under the video you want to change the details of. Click on it and you will see a list of the different attributes your can change for your video, including:
- title
- description
- tags
- categories
- thumbnails
- visibility
Make your changes and click on the "apply" button. Your video's details will then be updated accordingly.
What's a Category?
Categories are specific topics or areas that you can associate the videos you upload to Burly with.
For example, if you upload a video that's a stellar baseball catch, you will (probably) want to categorize that under 'baseball' or 'great plays.'
Categories exist so that other members can find videos related to a specific topic or theme more easily.
What's the difference between public and private videos?
Public videos are videos that you upload and that can be viewed by all Burly members. Private videos are only viewable by yourself or members who are marked as your friends.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- You can change the visibility of your videos (i.e. make them public or private, etc.) at anytime by editing their details.
- You can change the visibility of your Channels as well. Simply choose whether to make a Channel public or private from the 'Edit Channel Details' button within the Video Widget to adjust this feature. As with videos, invisible Channels will not appear to other uses, only to you, their owner.
How do I change the thumbnails of my videos?
In "Edit Mode" of your Burly profile page, go to your Video Widget. Next, select your Video Locker (Uploaded or All videos) look for a small button called "details" under the video you want to change the thumbnail for. Click on it and you will see a list of five different thumbnails you can choose from. Select the one you want and click on the 'apply' button. Your video will then be updated with the new thumbnail image.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
You can change the thumbnails for uploaded videos that appear in any of your Channels the same way.
Burly generates 5 thumbnails from your video when it is being processed. These thumbnail images are taken from various points in your video. Once generated, they can't be changed.
There will be a few cases where Burly can't generate a thumbnail for your video. When this happens, it will usually be assigned a default thumbnail.
What's the Video Locker?
The Video Locker houses all of your uploaded and saved videos. Members' uploaded and saved video are displayed in their Video Locker and can be used as a source for creating your own Video Channels.
NOTE: Unlike Channels (see below), Video Lockers can't have the order of its videos rearranged.
What's the difference between an uploaded and saved video?
Uploaded videos are those videos that you upload to Burly from either the Video Widget or the Upload Media page. In effect, these are videos that you "own" and are stored along with your other Burly account information. Because of this, you can change various details such as the thumbnail, title, tag(s), visibility and other information.
Saved videos are videos that someone else uploaded, which you found and saved to your Video Locker. Unlike uploaded videos, you can't make changes to saved videos.
Another important difference is this: uploaded videos can be searched while saved videos can't.
NOTE: You can delete saved videos from your Video Locker at any time.
What's a Channel?
Channels or Video Channels are a way to organize your videos within your Video Locker. They are basically just play lists of the videos you like and want to share with other Burly members.
Ever make your own mixed tape or music playlist? Well, Channels are basically the same thing.

The same applies to your own Channels.
How do I delete a Channel?
In "Edit Mode" of your Burly profile page, go to your Video Widget. Next, select the Channel you want to delete and click on the "delete channel" button. Your Channel will then be outta there.
NOTE: Remember, a Channel is just a play list of your favorite Burly videos so deleting a Channel doesn't actually delete the videos themselves. They will still exist in your Video Locker or the Channel you found them in to live for another day.
How do I make a certain Channel the default one when someone else visits my profile?
In "Edit Mode" of your Burly profile page, go to your Video Widget. Next, select the Channel you want to edit. Then, click on the "make default channel" button located at the top of the Video Widget. The Channel will then be set so it's the one that everyone sees when they visit your Burly profile page.
NOTE: You can make your Video Locker your default Channel if you want to.
What's a Subscription?
Subscriptions are links to Channels. Basically, you find the Channels you like and subscribe to them so you can view them whenever you want. Even cooler is the fact that Subscriptions can change as the source Channel is updated with new videos.
How do I unsubscribe from other members' Channels?
In "Edit Mode" of your Burly profile page, go to your Video Widget. Under the "Subscription" area of the Video Widget, click on the Channel you want to unsubscribe from and click on the "unsubscribe channel" button. Voila, you're unsubscribed!

The Video Player features a button called "save to My Videos", which when clicked will pop up a menu where you can choose to save the video you're watching to. You can choose to save the video to your Video Locker or to one of your existing Channels.

How do I move videos from subscriptions or my Video Locker into my own Channels?
In "Edit Mode" of your Burly profile page, go to your Video Widget. Next, click on the thumbnail image of the video(s) you want to copy to the Channel and while holding the mouse button down, drag the thumbnail over the Channel's name. Repeat this until all of the videos you want have been moved to your Channel.
NOTE: The same technique works for subscriptions just as well. Simply, select the subscription and drag the videos you want over to the Channel of your choice.
How do I view a video?
There are two ways to go about this:
- From the "Videos" link at the top of the navigation menu (available from any page), you can click on any video to watch it.
- From any Burly member's page, simply click on the videos in their Video Widget to view the video or videos of interest.
How do I delete a video?
Make sure your Burly profile page is in the "Edit Mode" (the view/edit mode button at the top of the page tells you), and click inside the Video Widget's Video Locker or any your Video Channels to manage your videos. Simply check the box next to the videos you'd like to delete.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- You can delete videos that appear in either your Video Locker or Channels. Videos deleted from your Channels do not get removed from your Video Locker.
- Once you delete a video from your Video Locker you can't get it back! Also, deleting a video from your Video Locker also deletes it from any Channels it appears in.
- You can't delete videos from your Subscriptions since you don't actually own these videos. Hint: this will become obvious to you since videos from subscribed Channels don't have "details" or "comments" buttons under their thumbnails.
I can't find the video I'm searching for. Why?
There could be many reasons for this. First of all, you may be searching for videos using tags (keywords) that are too specific. If that's the case, try using tags that are broader and more generic.
Secondly, depending on what type of video you're looking for, there may not be a video that matches your criteria currently available on the system. It's still very new and it will take a while for members to populate it with different types of videos.
NOTE: Burly is "smart" enough to search for videos by:
- Tags (full or partial). For ex: 'penn state' or 'state'
- Video Titles (full or partial). For ex: 'New England Patriots' or 'Patriots'
Finally, it's possible that the video you're looking for exists on Burly but has been marked as Private by its owner. Private videos can only be seen by the member his/herself.
NOTE: You should never be able to find certain types of forbidden videos on Burly, including porn, videos that contain graphic violence, that are racist, etc. If you do, let us know!
Can I send a video to someone who is not a Burly member?
Yes. While viewing a video, just click on the "share video" link in the menu bar below the viewing area. A pop-up window will appear where you enter the recipient's email address and any comments you have. That person will then receive a link to your video from the email you sent them.
If you like, you can also send a personalized message to the person you are sending your video link to.
In addition to emailing a link, you can also copy the full link of the video and send it to any friends via email or Instant Messenger, etc.
How do I share a video?
Like reaching first base safely, there are many ways to do this.
First, you can go to either 'share it' or 'steal it' in the menu bar at the bottom of the video page. Each has separate options for video sharing potential...
'Share it'
Send to friend - With this selection, you have the option of e-mailing the video, along with a personal message.
Post to del.icio.us - You can post the video to your del.icio.us account, along with a description and tags, either publicly or privately.
Digg it! - This will provide you a new window containing the digg.com sign-in page.
'Steal it'
Embed it - This option will generate HTML code that you may copy and paste into the blog program of your choice, or anywhere that accepts HTML.
Blog it - enabling you to include a video directly into your Blogger, Live Journal, MySpace or Wordpress blog, without messing with HTML. Simply go to the 'blog' selection, select the service you use from the pull-down menu, and enter your password. Enter a quick description for your blog (optional) and you're on your way!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- You have the option to have videos that play automatically (autoplay) when a page loads or have videos play only when a user clicks on the play button (click to play). The default embed option is set to 'click to play.'
- You can change the size of the Video Player by alerting the values that appear in the width and height parameters of the embed code. The default size is 512 x 500.
How do I place one of my Channels into a web page?
While on another member's Channel (or your own in "View Mode"), click on the "embed channel" link at the bottom of the Video Widget. A small pop-up window will appear with the HTML code for you to copy and paste into your web page.
Burly Channels should work on any site where HTML entry is accepted.
NOTE: There is a separate function enabling you to include a channel in your Blogger or Wordpress blog. Simply go to the 'blog' selection, select the service you use from the pulldown menu, and enter your password. Enter a quick description for your blog (optional) and you're on your way!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
You have the option to have Channels that play automatically (autoplay) when a page loads or have videos play only when a user clicks on the play button (click to play). The default embed option is set to 'click to play.'
Videos that appear inside embedded Channels play in the same order they appear when displayed in your Video Widget. Videos will appear in clock-wise order inside the Video Player.
You can change the size of the Video Player by alerting the values that appear in the width and height parameters of the embed code. The default size is 512x500.
Copyright Violations and Inappropriate Content
How do I report copyright infringement, member abuse, or offensive content such as pornography?
Click the "Contact Burly" link found at the bottom of the page in most areas of the Burly site (including this one) to email us about the issue.
Next, select your reason for contacting us from the drop-down menu in the subject line, and then try to be as specific as possible in the body of the email. Someone will respond ASAP. Believe it or not, real people receive these emails and answer them.
To report offensive and/or questionable material or potential copyright issues with a video you've seen click on the "Flag Video" link located at the top of the Video Player and select the appropriate category. We'll take it from there.
What is your policy on copyright infringement?
Burly requires all of its members to affirm that they have permission to use the content that they upload to the site. If we are alerted to content that infringes someone's copyright, the content will be removed and that Burly member's account may be suspended or even terminated.
How do I know if I'm not following copyright laws?
Copyright law can be trickier than a Scott Boras contract. Click here for our Copyright Tips to learn more about these rules.
